Sustainability

1. Transport:

Participants, coaches and officials are requested to use collective transport (buses) to training, races and events in order to avoid individual journeys. Visitors are requested to use public transport or bicycles to the European Championships instead of driving.

2. Waste:

To avoid waste, reusable tableware and returnable bottles will be used. Waste will be collected separately.

3. Catering:

In addition to the fact that the quality of the products for eating and drinking plays a decisive role, regional and organic products are used and offered.

4. Ecological compensation:

As ecological compensation for the climate impact, at least one tree will be planted per participating nation. In addition, it is planned to plant so-called Tiny Forests at suitable locations.
